Waiting
for a car accident to clear, we met some cool folks including a family
of musicians:: Camping with Liz and Petey in Chugach State Park, on
the Turnagain Arm
of the Cook Inlet (Liz and Petey "shotgun" Fosters we traded other campers
for garlic); That's a tree growing out of a hillside, and it was freaky
to stand under it. :: Hikes abound, and the last set of shots is a hike
along the Lost Lake trail, which we hit right after a fantastic lunch
of fish
and bourbon at Thorn's Lodge in Seward. The top of this hike was one recalibration
of our definition of "spectacular." |
