I eat a cricket.

The Vimanmek teak mansion was very cool, and I would have taken the full tour I was signed up for, but they bustled a large contingent of youngsters ahead of me. The noise wasn't so bad, but, you see, everyone was required to remove their shoes before entering and let's just say for a moment I had found "high heaven." I elected to go walk around and enjoy the polluted air of Bangkok. I got lost in a back alley market that was amazing. The images just after that freaky cat are of a coconut husking machine; it's out of a Steven King novel. Loud, aggressive, seemingly with a life of it's own. The woman had all of her fingers, but my guess is it was her first hour on the job. Imagine the superb photo of the scraggly old men playing poker at the end of the market, the ones I bribed with beer to take their picture. Now imagine me chickening out.

At Wat Po, there is a giant reclining buddha. Just chillin'.
